The last few months have been bustling with activity here at The Gita Project, and we’ve been busy reaching out to a variety of organisations across the UK.
One of our major goals this year has been to expand our reach within the education sector. Earlier in the year, we were thrilled to send Bhagavad Gitas to around 50 schools, where they are now being used in their Religious Education (RE) lessons. We believe these texts offer a unique perspective on life, purpose, and spirituality, and it’s heartening to know that students are engaging with these teachings as part of their curriculum.
In addition to schools, we’ve also connected with chaplaincies at various universities. Around 50 of them have graciously accepted our mix of books, making these resources available to students who may be seeking spiritual guidance or looking to explore ancient wisdom.
Education holds a special place in our mission, and we’re committed to continuing this work, one school and university at a time. If you’re part of an educational institution and would like to bring the Gita to your community, please reach out!
