Placement of Books

You’ve come to the right place – we can deliver Bhagavad-gitas and other books on yoga and meditation to your organisation without any cost to you.

You can fill out the contact form to request your books.

Below are some of the organisations we have placed books in.

Prisons

Prisons have been grateful to receive the Bhagavad-Gita and books on yoga and meditation for their education, library and chaplaincy departments. These books have helped individuals to access practical wisdom to support their rehabilitiation.

We have reached over 35 prisons across the UK so far. Please help us to reach more.

I have been avidly reading the books you kindly sent. I find them very helpful. Thank you.

Schools

The Bhagavad-Gita As It Is is a valuable resource for the entire school community and many schools have requested copies for their RE, Philosophy, Theology departments and libraries.

We intend on using it to support our own subject knowledge of Hinduism as well as using them within lessons. It looks very accessible because it is in English and it something we really appreciate as an RE Department

We have placed Bhagavad-Gita and wellbeing packs (that include books on yoga and meditation) in over 500 care homes across the UK. Staff, residents and their families have been grateful for these.

Thank you for the sponsored books you sent us, We have placed them on our book shelves so our residents and staff can access them freely. We have also made your catalogue available.

Funeral Services

The Bhagavad-Gita provides comfort to families in difficult times and the donation of these books have been appreciated by funeral services who have been able to pass them on to families.

Thank you for the donation of the books.

Hospitals

We have placed Bhagavad-Gita in over 100 hospitals across the UK. The books are made available to service users, guests and staff through the chaplaincy, library, prayer room,  waiting rooms and wards.

It is extremely generous of your organisation to donate so many books for the use of patients, visitors and staff members who visit our hospital chapel. These are, certainly, a most welcome addition to our multi-faith library and, I am sure, will be well read by many people.

University

Students and teachers have been thankful for the placement of the Bhagavad-gita and the wide range of ancient Vedic texts covering topics such as yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

Please accept our appreciation for providing us such high quality books. These will be much valued by students on our Sociology of Religion module and other library users.

Hotels

Hotels across the country have accepted the books to make them available to their guests.

The books are placed in their guest rooms, waiting areas or at the reception.

Thank you for the consignment of the Vedic books. These have now been distributed throughout our hotel and there are now copies in each of our eighteen bedrooms.
